BodhiTree Little Maestros

Parent policy

How we work together with families, from communication and pick-up to meals, health and fees.

Parent–teacher collaboration

  • Weekly learning updates via newsletters and private galleries, and an open-door policy.
  • One formal parent–teacher conference every month, plus extra meetings on request.
  • Parents are invited to Rhythm Circles, Storytelling Week, Open Music Sessions, Recital Days and the Annual Showcase.

Drop-off & pick-up

  • Children are received at the designated drop-off zone by school staff and escorted under supervision.
  • Children are handed over only to authorised people wearing the official Little Maestros ID card, and every pick-up is registered.
  • Changes to the pick-up person must be informed in writing by 12:00 pm the same day.
  • School hours are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Pick-ups after 3:15 pm incur a supervision fee.

Uniform

  • Three sets of regular uniform are provided on admission, worn Monday to Friday.
  • One formal set for recitals and events, and one semi-formal set for conference days. Extra sets can be ordered from the office.

Nutrition

  • Vegetarian breakfast, mid-morning snack and lunch daily, with menus planned with a paediatric dietitian and shared weekly.
  • Meals are freshly prepared by a certified chef in an FSSAI-compliant kitchen.
  • We are strictly nut-free and accommodate disclosed allergies with separate utensils and handling.

Health & safety

  • Children with fever above 100°F, persistent cough, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin infections or rashes should stay home, and be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication before returning. Contagious illnesses need a doctor's clearance.
  • Classrooms, materials and instruments are sanitised daily, and handwashing is built into the routine.
  • No medication is given without written consent and prescription.

Emergency preparedness

  • First-aid kits in every classroom, a CPR-certified staff member always on campus, an on-call paediatric doctor and an anti-choking device on site.
  • Annual staff training in child CPR and first response; regular fire, lockdown and earthquake drills.
  • Parents provide two active emergency contacts, reviewed each term.

Tuition & fees

  • Tuition is collected in two instalments: before the first day of school, and by 1 November.
  • A late fee of ₹5,000 applies to payments made 7 or more days after the due date; continued non-payment may suspend services.
  • No refunds are made for withdrawal during the academic year.
  • A one-time enrolment and materials fee covers uniforms, books, instruments and kits. Optional events may have extra charges, with notice.
